Lyric House's mission is to improve the literacy, self-confidence and overall creative, academic and social performance of San Francisco's high risk youth and young adults. Through teaching songwriting, life skills, performance and CD production, we use music to help students discover their creative, academic and professional potential. Using a formal and accessible songwriting curriculum; we help students to write, read, musically express themselves and develop a lasting sense of self worth. Students develop tools for achieving success in both their academic, community and everyday environments.
